CHEW BREAD 
1 stick butter
1 lb. box light brown sugar
2 c. self-rising flour
3 eggs
2 c. grated pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter over low heat. Add sugar, stir for 10 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well after each addition. Blend in flour and vanilla; beat well. Add nuts and bake in 325 degree oven until brown. This bread freezes well.
