GRANDMA'S CHEW BARS 
1 lb. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine sugar and eggs in a saucepan, stir well. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar is disolved. Remove from heat, add rest of ingredients, stirring well. Spoon mixture into a greased and floured 15 x 10 x 1 jelly roll pan. Bake in 400 degree oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and cut into squares. Makes 3 dozen.
