BEAN CASSEROLE | |
1 (31 oz.) can pork & beans 2 lb. cans sm. limas (water pack) 2 lbs. cans giant limas (water pack) 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 c. BBQ sauce 1 tbsp. vinegar 1 med. size onion 1 clove garlic 2 slices (center cut) country ham 1 sm. green pepper Pour pork and beans in crock pot. Drain water from limas and add. Chop onion, garlic and pepper. Add BBQ sauce, brown sugar and vinegar. Cut up ham in small pieces and add. Cook on low heat for 4 to 6 hours. Stir occasionally. Experiment with this one by leaving off pepper or garlic or add your favorite condiment. |
