GERMAN SWEET CHOCOLATE PIE 
2 egg whites
1/8 tsp. ream of tartar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Beat egg whites with cream of tartar and salt until foamy. Add 1/2 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons at a time. Fold in pecans, vanilla. Place in lightly greased 9 inch pan.

PIE MIXTURE:

1/2 lb. sm. marshmallows
1/2 bar German chocolate, broken up
3/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt

Heat over boiling water at low heat, stirring occasionally until marshmallows and chocolate melt. Cool; fold into 1/2 pint heavy cream, whipped, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
