In 9 x 13 inch pan melt 1 stick butter. Add 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup chopped pecans and 2 tablespoons sugar. Mix and pat in pan to form crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Mix 1 large and 1 small pudding, any flavor, according to directions on boxes using 1 cup less milk. Set aside. (If using regular pudding let cool completely.)
Cream 1 cup confectioners' sugar and 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened. Fold in 1 cup Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust. Add pudding. Garnish with Cool Whip and sprinkle with additional chopped pecans.
