1 c. butter (Crisco)
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. grated orange rind
4 eggs
2 c. sifted cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. mace
1/4 c. milk

Cream shortening, sugar, vanilla and orange rind. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and mace and add alternately with milk to shortening mixture. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Bake in Bundt pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 1/2 hours.
