1 box yellow cake mix
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
1 lg. instant vanilla pudding mix
8 oz. Cool Whip
Nuts or coconut

Mix and bake cake according to directions on box in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Meanwhile, bring to full boil, sugar and pineapple. While cake is hot, prick top with fork and pour hot pineapple-sugar mixture over top. Let cool.

Mix large instant pudding according to directions on box and pour over pineapple. Refrigerate. When pudding is firm frost with Cool Whip and sprinkle top with nuts or coconut.
