MUSTARD DRESSING | |
1/2 cup white wine vinegar 3 tbsp. butter 3 tsp. flour 2 tsp. sugar 2 tsp. mustard 1/2 tsp. salt Dash cayenne pepper 2 egg yolks Scald vinegar and add butter to melt. Mix flour and sugar with seasoning and add to the egg yolk slightly beaten. Pour the hot vinegar over this. Pour into double boiler and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Strain and cool. Delicious over fresh spinach salad. |
