3 cups semisweet or milk chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
dash of salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup nuts, chopped (optional)

Melt chocolate over medium heat until thoroughly melted. Remove from heat. Add milk, salt and vanilla. Mix well. Mixture should be smooth. If using nuts, add at this time. Pour into foil lined 8 or 9 inch square pan. Put in ice box to set. Cut into 1 inch squares and serve.
