CHOCOLATE MINT SNACKS 
FIRST LAYER:

1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 (1 oz.) square unsweetened chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. walnuts

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, vanilla, flour, chocolate, then nuts. Pour into 8 x 8 inch greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool.

SECOND LAYER:

1 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. butter, softened
1 tbsp. cream
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
Green food coloring

Mix all ingredients together until smooth. Spread mint cream over first layer when cool.

GLAZE:

1 (1 oz.) square unsweetened chocolate
1 tbsp. butter

Melt, then cool completely. Spread over mint cream. Chill until firm.
