GINNY'S BAKED CHICKEN 
1 lg. onion
1 c. dry rice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. marjoram
1 c. water
1 can mushroom soup
4 to 6 lg. pieces of chicken

Pam or butter a large casserole 9x13 pan. In bottom, slice the onion. On top of the onion, put the cup of dry rice. Mix the spices. Add the cup of water to the mushroom soup. Add the spices to the liquid mixture.

Place the chicken pieces on top of the rice and pour the liquid over all. Cover tightly and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Remove cover and bake 15 minutes more.
