POTATOES AND NOODLES 
3 lg. potatoes
1/2 pkg. fine noodles
1/2 stick butter
Salt & pepper to taste
1/4 c. minced onion or snips of green onion tops (opt.)

Peel potatoes and cook until nearly done. Cook noodles according to package directions; drain noodles when done. Put butter in frying pan; add noodles and potatoes. Potatoes can be riced prior to placing them in the pan or mash potatoes as you turn them and the noodles. Fry until potatoes and noodles are nicely browned. Add salt, pepper and onion. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
