CINNAMON BUNS 
2 c. flour
4 rounded tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
1/3 c. shortening
1 egg
Milk
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
Cinnamon

Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add shortening and mix until small crumbs form. Break egg into measuring cup and add milk to make 3/4 cup. Stir into flour mixture, mix. Then roll on floured surface to about 1/2 inch thick.

Mix brown sugar and butter and spread over dough. Sprinkle with a thin layer of cinnamon. Roll up, jelly roll fashion, and cut into 1-inch thick pieces. Evenly space in a round cake pan (mine is 9 inches wide). Bake at 400 degrees for about 25 minutes. (Use less time if your cake pan is wider.)

These came out very flaky and less cakey, almost falling apart but wow, the flavor was awesome! Will try it again to see if it is me or the recipe.
