SPANISH FRANKS 
8 turkey frankfurters
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 c. diced green pepper
2/3 c. onion, chopped
1 1/3 c. instant rice
1 3/4 c. hot water
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce, no salt added
1/2 tsp. chili seasoning
1 bud garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Brown franks in 10" non-stick skillet sprayed with vegetable cooking oil spray. Remove franks from pan. Measure vegetable oil into skillet; add green pepper, onion and rice. Cook and stir over high heat until lightly browned. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered for 15 minutes. Remove cover; replace franks and simmer 5 minutes longer. Serves 4.
