PERFECT APPLE PIE | |
Double crust pie crust 6 thinly sliced and peeled apples 3/4 c. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 3/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. salt 1/3 tsp. nutmeg 1 tbsp. lemon juice Heat oven to 450 degrees. Put bottom crust in 9 inch pie plate. Put all ingredients in large bowl. Toss lightly, spoon into crust. Add top crust and flute edges. Cut several slits in top. Bake for 10 minutes, lower to 350 degrees for 30 minutes more. |
