FRENCH APPLE PIE 
2 shells Perfect pie crust, unbaked
7 lg. McIntosh apples OR 6 Granny Smith apples, peeled and CHUNKED
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
4 tsp. tapioca
Dash nutmeg

Mix in large bowl and place in pie crusts, then dot with 4-5 slices Parkay.

CRUMB TOPPING:

1 1/2 c. flour
2 sticks Parkay
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. oats

Cut first 3 ingredients together with pastry cutter until crumbly; then add oats and toss. Place on pies and bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes and lower temperature to 350 degrees for another 40 minutes. Makes 2 pies.
