CORN FRITTERS 
2 c. Bisquick
2/3 c. milk
1 egg
1 (16 oz.) can white shoe peg corn (approx. 2 c.), drained or other vegetables or fruits

Mix Bisquick, milk, egg until well blended (batter will be lumpy). Stir in vegetables or fruit. Drop by small teaspoon into deep hot fat (360 to 375 degrees). Turn and fry until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towel then roll in powdered sugar. Serves 2 - 2 1/2 dozen.
