OATMEAL-PEAR COOKIES 
1 can or fresh Bartlett pears (1 1/2 c. diced)
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. honey
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. uncooked oatmeal
1/3 c. raisins
1/3 c. chopped nuts

Fresh pears, core and dice unpeeled pears. Measure 1 1/2 cup cream, butter, brown sugar and honey. Add egg, beat until fluffy. Add vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in oatmeal, pears, raisins, nuts. Drop by teaspoons on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
