HEALTHY OATMEAL COOKIES | |
1 - 1 1/4 c. brown sugar or part honey 1/2 c. shortening 4 egg whites (equivalent of egg substitute) 2 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 1/2 c. hot water 3 c. flour, half whole wheat & half unbleached 2 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. cinnamon 3 c. oatmeal & granola 1 1/2 c. raisins, boiled in small amount water 12 oz. pkg. butterscotch chips 1 c. chopped walnuts Mix well and drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. |
