PRETZELS 
1 pkg. active dry yeast
1 1/2 c. water (warm)
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour

Dissolve the yeast in the 1 1/2 cups of warm water. Add salt, sugar, and flour. Knead until smooth. Add more flour if dough is sticky (up to 1 cup). Divide dough in small size pieces. Roll into a 12 to 14 inch rope. Shape like pretzels or any way you like. Brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes.
