SWEET POTATO BAKE 
4 med. sweet potatoes
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. flour
Cinnamon to taste (this makes syrup brown)
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 stick butter

Slice potatoes and place in casserole. Pour dry mixture of sugar, flour and cinnamon over the potatoes. Dot with 1 stick butter. Pour the water and lemon juice over potatoes. Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour or until tender. About half way through cooking, turn the potatoes over.
