RICE SALAD | |
1 1/3 c. minute rice 1 tbsp. wine vinegar 2 tbsp. salad oil 1/2 tsp. curry 3 tbsp. onion, chopped fine 1 c. celery, chopped 3/4 c. mayonnaise 1 pkg. frozen peas 1/4 tsp. salt Cook rice according to directions. Remove from heat. Cook peas according to directions and drain. To rice mixture, add wine vinegar, salad oil, curry, onion and salt. Chill rice and chill peas, mix adding celery and mayonnaise. Place in greased mold in refrigerator, until very firm. Turn out on lettuce leaves and sprinkle with paprika. |
