2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
1/3 c. maraschino cherries, diced
2/3 c. corn flakes
18 cherries, cut in half

Blend sugar and butter together. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients, add nuts and chopped cherries. Mix well. Roll into balls using 1 teaspoon for each ball. Roll balls in corn flake crumbs, place on cookie sheet, put maraschino cherry half in center of each cookie. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.
