MRS. FIELDS T.L.C. CHOCOLATE
CHIP COOKIES

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
2 1/2 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. dairy sour cream
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels (2 c.)
1 c. chopped walnuts

In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Using a wire whisk, mix dry ingredients thoroughly; set aside.

In a medium saucepan over medium low heat, heat butter and baking chocolate, stirring constantly, until completely melted.

Combine sugar, eggs and vanilla in large bowl; mix with electric mixer until blended. Add chocolate and butter mixture. Add reserved flour mixture, 1/3 at a time, alternately with sour cream; mix well after each addition. Stir in chocolate morsels and walnuts.

Drop dough by rounded tablespoons, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven 10 to 12 minutes. Transfer from hot baking sheet to cool surface immediately. Yield: 5 dozen cookies.
