ENGLISH PEA CASSEROLE 
1 lg. size can English peas
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. grated sharp cheese
1/2 stick melted butter
1 c. crushed round, butter type crackers
White Sauce

Using a long casserole dish, place ingredients in layers: white sauce, peas (drained), mushroom soup, crackers, cheese, butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly. To make white sauce, combine 1/4 cup flour and 1 cup milk. Cook slowly until thick and bubbly.
