BLUEBERRY BREAD 
1 1/2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
2/3 c. vegetable oil
1 egg
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. blueberries
1/2 c. chopped nuts

In a large bowl mix together ingredients in order given. Pour batter into well greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch pans. Set aside while preparing topping.

TOPPING:

1 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. sugar

Mix melted butter with sugar and sprinkle over top of batter. Bake at 350 degree oven for 40 minutes or until loaves test done. Turn oven down to 200 degrees and let loaves remain in oven for 10 minutes. Let cool on wire racks before removing from pan. This bread freezes well.

Fresh milk can be soured by putting 1 tablespoon vinegar in measuring cup and filling it with milk. Let stand 5 minutes.
