GREAT BEAN SALAD | |
1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans 1 (16 oz.) can yellow wax beans 1 chopped green pepper 1 chopped onion 1 (4 oz.) jar pimentos, drained and chopped 3/4 c. sugar 1/3 c. salad oil 2/3 c. white vinegar 1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper 1 tsp. salt Combine first 6 ingredients and drain well. Combine sugar, oil, vinegar, pepper and salt. Pour over bean mixture. Mix well and store in refrigerator dish with tight cover. Flavor improves after 2 or 3 days. Yield - 6 servings. |
