TOLLHOUSE COOKIE BRITTLE 
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine 1 cup butter, 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla and 1 teaspoon salt in a bowl. Gradually beat in 1 cup sugar. Add 2 cups sifted flour and 1 package (1 cup) semi-sweet chocolate chips. Mix well.

Place evenly into ungreased 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts over top. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool, then break in irregular pieces and drain on paper towels. Very greasy but so yummy!
