DELICIOUS BEEF & GRAVY STEW 
1 1/2 lb. stew meat
Flour
4 tbsp. oil
3 carrots, chopped
1 lg. onion
2 c. beef bouillon
1/2 jar Heinz beef gravy
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. thyme
1/2 c. dry noodles

Salt and pepper meat then roll in flour. Brown meat in Dutch oven in oil. Add all ingredients but noodles. Stir to get up brown bits from bottom. Cover tightly and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add noodles. Cook 30 minutes more. Taste for seasoning and serve hot with cornbread.
