SONNY MAYBERRY'S BAR-B-Q RIBS | |
1 to 4 ribs per person Country style or Loin back ribs Head country Bar-b-q sauce or Jerry Greenwood sauce Water soak wet hickory or mesquite chips on charcoal fire In a large kettle stand the ribs and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, and boil 15 to 20 minutes. NOT any longer. Remove from water and move ribs to a medium to low charcoal fire (not a hot fire) and cover with lid. Smoke about 5 to 8 minutes each side. Coat with bar-b-q sauce, turning a few times and coating each time your turn. Watch ribs closely as they will burn with sauce on. |
