SOUR MILK BISCUITS 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. shortening
3/4 to 1 c. buttermilk

Sift flour, salt, baking powder and soda. Cut in shortening. Add buttermilk until blended. Roll dough out to about 3/8 inch thick. Cut as desired with floured cutter. Place on baking pan and bake for 12 to 15 minutes in a 475 degree oven.
