DIABETIC CHOCOLATE COOKIES | |
1 packet Butter Buds, made into liquid 1/4 c. vegetable oil 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour 1 c. sifted whole-wheat flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips 2 c. 40% bran flakes Preheat oven to 425°F. Spray 2 cookie sheets with nonstick cooking spray. In large mixing bowl, combine Butter Buds, oil and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and cereal. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Remove cookies immediately to cooling racks. |
