VENISON ROAST 
5-6 lb. roast
6 slices of bacon
4 whole peppers
1 lg. bay leaf
4 whole allspice
Salt

Put roast in pan; cover over the top with slices of bacon. Sprinkle with salt; lay spices in pan and add about 1 cup water. Cover and roast at 350 degrees. Cook about 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Make gravy from the pan juice.
