MY GRANDMOTHER'S PIE CRUST 
3 c. flour
1 1/3 c. lard (Crisco)
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. water

Mix flour and lard with pastry mixer or fork, set aside. In a small bowl, mix egg yolk and vinegar. Stir in with lard, flour. Add most of the water, stir to desired consistency. The less kneaded, the better. Two 9 inch covered pie crusts.
