LAYERED SALAD 
1 head lettuce, chopped
1 pkg. frozen peas, thawed
1/2 - 1 can sliced water chestnuts
Sm. red onion, made into rings
8 oz. grated Swiss cheese, sprinkled over mixture
1 pt. Hellman's mayonnaise to seal edges
1 green can Parmesan cheese, sprinkled on top

Layer this in order written. Seal for 24 hours with Saran Wrap and place in refrigerator. Before serving add 1/2 to 1 lb. of bacon that has been made into bits on top of salad and toss at last minute before serving.
