HUNGARIAN CHICKEN PAPRIKI 
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (3 lb.) chicken, cut up
1 1/2 c. water
1 c. sour cream
1 (16 oz.) pkg. noodles, cooked

Saute onion in butter in skillet until tender, but not brown. Add mixture of seasonings; mix well. Add chicken. Cook until light brown on all sides. Add water. Cook, covered over low heat for 1 1/2 hours or until chicken is tender. Place chicken on warm platter. Stir sour cream into drippings. Serve with hot cooked noodles.
