PEANUT BUTTER CAKE 
1/3 c. Crisco
1/3 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

FROSTING:

1/4 c. peanut butter
2 c. confectioners sugar
2 sqs. semi-sweet chocolate
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
A little milk

Cream together Crisco, peanut butter, sugar and eggs. Add milk and vanilla, blend well. Add dry ingredients, blend well. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees, cool. Frost with chocolate peanut butter frosting. Combine peanut butter and confectioners sugar until creamy. Melt chocolate and butter. Add to sugar. Add vanilla, salt and milk until spreading consistency.
