APPLE SALAD 
1 (16 oz.) can pineapple
2/3 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) lemon Jell-O
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
2 c. apples, cut up
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. Cool Whip
chopped celery (optional)

Cook pineapple, sugar and cream cheese. Boil 2 to 3 minutes. Add Jell-O. Pour in oblong dish. Fold in apples, nuts and Cool Whip. Refrigerate before serving.
