PRALINE POUND CAKE | |
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans, divided 1 1/2 c. butter, softened 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened 3 c. brown sugar 6 eggs, room temp. 3 1/4 c. all-purpose flour 2 tsp. vanilla Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour 10 inch tube pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup chopped pecans in pan, set aside. Cream butter and cream cheese, add sugar and cream until fluffy, add eggs 1 at a time. Fold in flour well, stir in vanilla and remaining nuts. Spoon batter in pan and place on baking sheet in oven. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until done. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then remove to a rack to cool completely. |
