PUMPKIN CHEESE CAKE | |
1 pkg. (16 oz.) pound cake mix 3 eggs 2 tbsp. butter, melted 4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped walnuts, or pecans Whipped cream In a small bowl combine cake mix, 1 egg, butter and 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice. Beat on low until mixture is crumbly. Press into bottom of a 13 x 9 inch baking pan. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add condensed milk, remaining 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon and salt. Mix until blended. Pour into crust; sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until set. To serve cut into squares and top with sauce and whipped cream. 12- 15 servings. Cool. Refrigerate until ready to serve. PRALINE SAUCE: 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1/4 c. water 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 egg, beaten 1/4 c. butter 1/4 c. chopped pecans |
