2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 (#303) size can applesauce or crushed pineapple with juice or fruit cocktail

Sift flour, sugar and baking soda. Add eggs and can of applesauce or crushed pineapple or fruit cocktail. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 sm. can Pet milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix well and add to warm cake - prior to adding frosting poke cake to make holes so that frosting might sip in.
