BACON AND NOODLES (SALONA TESTA) 
1/2 lb. fine soup noodles
1/4 lb. bacon
1 onion, size of walnut
1 qt. tomatoes
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt

Cut bacon and onion in small pieces and brown in skillet. Add tomatoes, sugar and salt. Cook noodle in hot water and drain (or use leftover noodles) and add to tomato mixture. Mix together and put in casserole and bake 1/2 hour at 375 degrees to let the flavors marry. EXCELLENT!
