MACARONI BACON CASSEROLE 
1 (9 oz.) pkg. macaroni
6 slices bacon, diced
1/3 c. onion, chopped
1/4 lb. grated Sharp cheese
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato soup
1 c. milk
1/2 c. buttered crumbs

Cook macaroni until tender, rinse with cold water and drain. Brown the bacon, remove from pan and cook onions in bacon fat until soft and yellow. Arrange macaroni, onions, bacon and grated cheese in layers in a buttered casserole. Stir the tomato soup into the milk, and pour over the macaroni. Sprinkle buttered crumbs over top and bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 5 to 6. Green pepper, chopped may be added. 1 can (16 ounce) tomatoes may be used instead of soup and add 1/4 cup milk more.
