RON'S HOT MILK SPONGE CAKE 
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
2 egg whites, beaten stiff
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 sm. squares butter

Beat 2 egg yolks well. Add 1 cup sugar and beat well again. Add vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Then sift into cake mix. heat milk and butter until lukewarm and add slowly to cake mix. Blend in egg whites and pour into 9 inch square cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Grease and flour pan well.
