BRIDE'S REALLY GREAT CHICKEN | |
1 broiler-fryer, cut up (about 3 lbs.) 1 can condensed golden mushroom soup 1 lg. onion, chopped (1 c.) 1 (3 or 4 oz.) can chopped mushrooms 1/4 c. dry white wine 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1. Arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer in a 13"x9"x2" baking dish. 2. Combine soup, onion, mushrooms and liquid wine and the lemon juice in a medium bowl. Spoon sauce over the chicken pieces. 3. Bake in a moderate oven, 375 degrees for 1 hour, or until chicken is tender and richly browned. Makes 4 servings. |
