CHEESY-BROCCOLI SOUP | |
1 (8 oz.) frozen broccoli, chopped 1 c. chicken broth 1 sm. onion, chopped 1/2 stick butter 1/4 c. flour 1 c. evaporated milk 2 c. milk 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, grated Salt and pepper to taste Cook broccoli in broth 15 minutes. Saute onion in butter until tender and add flour. Stir. Add evaporated milk and sweet milk and cook until thick. Add to broccoli. Add cheese and stir until melted. Turn stove to lowest point and simmer for 30 minutes. Stir often. 6 servings. |
