YELLOW SQUASH CASSEROLE 
6 yellow squash
1 onion
1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, cut up
1/2 stick butter
1 egg
1/2 c. bread crumbs browned in oven
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook squash in sauce pan in a little water with onion, when tender drain then add cheese, egg, butter and salt and pepper to taste. Stir unti cheese and butter melts. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and brown in oven.
