MEXICAN CASSEROLE 
1 lb. hamburger meat (more if company), lightly browned
1/2 c. chopped onion (more or less for taste)
1 can condensed tomato soup (2 cans for company)
1 can condensed mushroom soup (2 if company)
Chili powder to taste (I use a pkg. of chili mix)
Add other spices if desired

Cook until bubbly (medium heat).

Layer in baking dish:

1st Layer: Corn chips or Doritos (I use broken taco shells sometimes).

2nd Layer: About half the meat mixture.

3rd Layer: Cover meat with cheese slices.

4th Layer: Chips.

5th Layer: Rest of meat mixture.

6th Layer: Cheese slices.

Bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees. This can also be microwaved in hot summer. For Sunday I fix the meat mixture before church and put it together after church, its quick.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
