FINGER SALAD OR VEGETABLE PIZZA | |
Combine in a large bowl: 1/4 c. butter 2 tbsp. sugar 1/4 c. boiling water Stir until dissolved. Cool to lukewarm. Sprinkle 1 package yeast into 1/4 cup very warm water. Let stand a few minutes, then stir until dissolved. 1 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. salt Add yeast and egg to butter mixture, then add flour and salt. Mix well and cool. Pour on well greased sheet cake pan and press evenly. Fingers need to be very greasy. Bake at 325 degrees until golden brown. Cool. Add 1 package HIDDEN VALLEY® dressing to 1 pint sour cream and spread on dough. Then top with shredded carrots, celery, green pepper, broccoli, shredded cheddar cheese, cut in pieces and serve. Can use 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese and 1 cup salad dressing instead of sour cream. |
