TEXAS COCOA BROWNIES 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. vegetable oil
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
1 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda

ICING:

4 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 box powdered sugar

Combine flour and sugar. Bring to a boil the oil, cocoa, butter and water. Add the soda just before mixing with the flour mixture. Then blend in the vanilla, beaten eggs and buttermilk. Pour into sheet cake pan (greased and floured) and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. While brownies are baking, heat and bring to a boil the cocoa, butter and milk. As it starts to boil add the sugar and vanilla. Beat well and spread on warm brownies. Let cool 15 minutes before cutting.
